Death toll from earthquake in Pakistan, Afghanistan rises to 21

Shafiullah Rahimi, a Taliban spokesman for the Ministry of Natural Disaster Management, said 10 people were killed and 60 injured in the quake. He told that 800 houses have been damaged in Afghanistan. Tremors of a 6.5 magnitude earthquake were felt in Pakistan on Tuesday. The epicenter of this earthquake was in Afghanistan. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan at a depth of 180 km. This earthquake was also felt in many parts of North India including the capital of India, Delhi. According to the department, tremors were felt in Pakistan in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sialkot, Kot Momin, Madh Ranjha, Chakwal and Kohat areas.
