UK (Best Hindu News): The difficulties of Indian students studying in UK have increased as their degrees are stuck in universities. In such a situation, without degree, these students cannot apply for further studies and any job, due to which now students will have to return to their homeland.
In fact, examiners of about 145 UK universities have been on strike for the last four months. Due to the strike of the examiners, the copies could not be checked. Due to which about 40 thousand Indian students studying in universities are facing difficulties. Sumit, who is pursuing MA from Edinburgh University, UK, said that he is not able to apply for PhD because of not getting the degree. He told that if the students of UG and PG final year do not get their degree in two months, then they will have to go back from here.
According to the rules, students have to submit the degree within two months of completing their studies in UK. Similarly, Saytan Ghosh, who came to study from Kolkata, said that due to not getting the degree, now he will have to go back to India and apply for a visa.
Let us tell you that about 145 UK university employees are on strike for the last four months to demand salary hike. Due to the strike, final year copies of graduation and post graduation courses could not be checked.
