Efforts are being made to improve the lives of citizens in China and achieve prosperity. Another initiative has been taken in this direction, which is to achieve through digital economy. It is said that China has released a plan to build a broader and better digital economy. Its objective is to make the country prosperous and happy. This also shows that China’s economy is moving forward to experiment by reaching new heights.
Recently, China’s Data Bureau and the National Development and Reform Commission released a joint plan in this regard. The scheme aims to facilitate deeper integration of digital technology and the real economy and solve the problem and challenge of unbalanced and inadequate development through digital means.
It is believed that through the development of the digital economy by the year 2025, positive progress can be achieved in reducing the gap between urban and rural areas, different population groups as well as in basic public services. Not only this, efforts will continue in this direction in the next five years also. That is to say, by the year 2030, substantial progress will be achieved in promoting general prosperity in the country through the digital economy. The focus will be particularly on cooperation between the eastern and western regions.
It has been told that under the scheme, arrangements have been made regarding four major aspects. Under which emphasis will be laid on promoting coordinated regional development through digital economy. While these include advancing digital development in rural areas, enhancing the digital capability of the public for better employment and facilitating inclusive delivery of social services in a digital manner, etc.
This makes it clear that China is fully committed to strengthening the economy in new ways in the era of global economic recession. It can be said that in today’s era, the trend of digitalization and global economic development has become an essential part of China’s high-quality development.
