Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in some parts of Turkestan on Monday (Day 20). The magnitude of the Richter scale is 6.4. There is preliminary information that tremors were felt in Lebanon and Israel. Earthquake tremors were felt for 10 seconds on Monday night around 8.30 pm local time. The information about the damage caused due to this is yet to be received.
On February 6, an earthquake occurred in the mountains of Turkestan. The southern Kaharanmars region would have been the epicenter of the earthquake. 7.8 Richter scale would have been this much intensity or earthquake. There was an earthquake in Turkestan and Shejar’s Syria. Pictures of many building blocks buried empty were seen. The death toll in the accident has crossed 46 thousand. Turkestan government has stopped rescue work in all the states except Kahramanmaras and Hatay. Under ‘Operation Dost’, the NDRF team sent from India to Turkey has also returned.
