New Delhi : Gold prices in the domestic futures market (Gold Rate Today) opened with a decline on Tuesday and touched a two-month low in early trade itself. Gold prices opened at Rs 59,401 per 10 grams on MCX on Tuesday. It touched a low of Rs 59,395 per 10 grams in early trade. International level also saw a decline in gold prices. This fall in gold has been seen amid the possibility of a bill coming soon to increase the debt limit in America. Along with gold, the prices of silver (Silver Rate Today) have also seen a decline on Tuesday.

Silver futures have also seen a decline on the MCX exchange. On Tuesday afternoon, silver for delivery on July 5 was trading down by 0.15 per cent or Rs 108 at Rs 71,017 per kg.

Global prices of gold have seen a decline on Tuesday afternoon. The global futures price of gold on Comex declined by 0.10 per cent or $ 1.90 to trade at $ 1961.20 an ounce. At the same time, the global spot price of gold declined by 0.04 percent or $ 0.76 to trade at $ 1942.43 an ounce.

The global spot price of silver on Comex declined by 0.51 per cent or $ 0.12 to trade at $ 23.24 an ounce. At the same time, the global spot price of silver declined by 0.09 per cent or $ 0.02 to trade at $ 23.16 an ounce.
