Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given a big statement regarding institutions like Development Bank, UN, UNSC, WHO, WTO. Expressing disappointment regarding all multilateral institutions, he said that their influence at the global level has reduced.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given this statement while addressing the Kautilya Economic Conclave organized in Delhi. He said that these institutions are proving to be less effective in performing the tasks for which they were created. Addressing during this program, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that at the global level there is no need to hesitate in saying that multilateral institutions are proving to be less effective. Through this, the Union Finance Minister has said this not only about banks but also about institutions like United Nations Security Council, WHO and WTO.

Statement given regarding loan also
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said the government is conscious of managing the fiscal deficit and will ensure that the burden of debt repayment does not fall on the next generation. Addressing the ‘Kautilya Economic Conference’ 2023, Sitharaman said that the government is considering ways to reduce the overall debt.

He said, “We are conscious of the issues related to the country’s macroeconomic stability that we face in fiscal and fiscal management…so every decision we take today is conscious of the impact it will have on the next generation.” But what burden will it bring?

The Finance Minister said that it is very easy to spend wastefully and burden the future generations with the debt that you will be sitting on. Sitharaman said, “We are conscious of the debt of the Government of India. It is not that high compared to many others but still we are being cautious and looking at the work being done in different parts of the world.
