Panaji/New Delhi, March 18 (HS). The country’s new airline Fly91 on Monday started commercial operations with flights between four cities. The company has started its flights between Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Sindhudurg. Fly91 will launch flights to Agati, Jalgaon, and Pune in April. Along with this, the company has offered a special fare of Rs 1,991 (including all taxes).
A company spokesperson said in a statement issued here that the airline’s flight departed from Goa’s Manohar International Airport at 7.55 am for Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. The airline also operated its first flight from Bengaluru to Sindhudurg. The airline plans to operate flights between Goa and Bengaluru on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Manoj Chacko, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Fly91, said the launch of the company’s commercial flight symbolizes the airline’s “commitment to connecting India. On the special fare offer of Rs 1,991 (inclusive of all taxes), he said the introductory offer will be applicable on all fly91 flight segments.
Chacko said the airline will operate flights between Goa and Bengaluru on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Similarly, the same number of flights will be operated every week between Bengaluru and Sindhudurg. Apart from this, the airline will also fly between Goa and Hyderabad and between Sindhudurg and Hyderabad twice a week. In fact. Fly91 aims to connect travelers to popular destinations like Lakshadweep and Goa. It is trying to increase air connectivity with tier II and III cities of India.
