After the flight caught fire, it was made an emergency landing at the Ohio airport in the US. In a video going viral on social media, flames and smoke can be seen billowing from the right engine of the flight.

According to the media, a Twitter user shared the video of the incident and wrote, ‘I just noticed some engine problems shortly after take off on AA1958. Flames were coming out of the engine and there was a loud noise coming from the flight. According to the media, the Boeing 737 flight 1958 left Columbus for Phoenix.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the flight landed safely. No one has been reported injured in this incident. At present the investigation of the incident is going on. “Emergency crews responded to an aircraft incident at CMH this morning, reporting an engine fire,” John Glenn Columbus International Airport said in a statement posted on Twitter. The flight landed safely and the airport is open and operational.

Talking about the incident, a passenger on board the flight told that he and others on the flight heard a loud rattling sound in the flight. A pilot reportedly told him that he had hit a flock of birds shortly after take-off. The passenger also said that once the flight landed safely, everyone was evacuated. It was then taken to another flight which left later in the morning.
