Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan may appear before Lahore High Court

The Islamabad High Court had granted bail to 70-year-old Khan, barring him from arrest in all cases registered after May 9, and asked him to approach the Lahore High Court on May 15. Khan was arrested on May 9 by the National Accountability Bureau in the Al Qadir Trust case. The Supreme Court declared Khan’s arrest from the Islamabad High Court premises illegal and referred the matter to the High Court.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has sought pre-arrest bail in six cases registered in Lahore and other parts of Punjab province after May 9, a senior leader of Imran Khan’s party said on Sunday.
