Gaza (Uttam Hindu News): Four people were killed and 21 others were injured in Israeli shelling east of the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) gave this information on Saturday. “Four people were killed and 21 others were wounded today when Israeli shelling hit the PRCS medical post in Jabaliya in northern Gaza, east of the Jabaliya camp,” the agency said in its post on Twitter.
Local officials said that on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian movement Hamas launched a massive rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and its fighters crossed the border and fired on the army and civilians. Due to this, more than 1,200 people were killed in Israel and about 240 others were kidnapped.
Israel launched retaliatory strikes and ordered a complete blockade of Gaza and launched a ground incursion into the Palestinian territory with the stated goal of eliminating Hamas fighters and rescuing hostages. More than 24,900 people have died so far in Gaza due to Israeli attacks.
