New Delhi. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have invested Rs 47,148 crore in Indian equities in June. This amount is the highest in the last 10 months. Mayank Mehra, principal partner at financial advisory firm Craving Alpha, however, said inflows may taper off in July as recent comments from the US Federal Reserve may make FPIs cautious. According to the data, FPIs invested a net Rs 47,148 crore in Indian stocks in June. Depository data showed FPI investments in equities stood at Rs 43,838 crore in May, Rs 11,631 crore in April and Rs 7,936 crore in March. Earlier, FPIs had pulled out a net Rs 34,000 crore from equities in January and February.
