Framework released for promotion of startup ecosystem in G20

In an official statement on Monday, Chintan Vaishnav, in-charge of India at the Startup20 group, said that the first draft of the key recommendations and policy directions of the Startup Policy Statement in G20 countries has been released for public consultation.
A working group formed under the auspices of the G20 has emphasized the importance of inclusive and collaborative decision-making to drive innovation and growth in the global startup community. In an official statement on Monday, Chintan Vaishnav, in-charge of India at the Startup20 group, said that the first draft of the key recommendations and policy directions of the Startup Policy Statement in G20 countries has been released for public consultation. He also stressed the importance of wider participation in deciding policies that have a direct impact on the startup ecosystem globally. Comments can be sent on this draft till May 27.
The working group will closely monitor all the suggestions coming during this period. The Startup20 Working Group has been formed to foster innovation, dialogue and accelerate growth in the startup ecosystem within the G20 group. It consists of representatives of the member countries. Presently, the G20 is chaired by India and its command will remain with it till November. The G20 summit will be held in New Delhi in September.
