Jahanbar Shalih, 36, and his wife Farah Nadya, 35, said they were turned away from the snack stand by a male employee at the supermarket run by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) on April 9. He was doing his usual grocery shopping with his two young children. While Jahanbar is Indian, his wife Farah is Indian-Malay. He told that when he was standing at the booth reading about the free refreshments. Then an employee there said that this free treat is not for Indians. Don’t take anything from this stand and walk away. Prayer Price has said on the incident that we have counseled the staff.
