In this new map, Gorakhpur and its adjoining areas of UP and many areas of Bihar have been shown as part of Nepal.
The map of Greater Nepal in Shah’s office includes the area of East Teesta. West Kangra which is currently Indian territory. Even now voices are being raised that India should return those lands to Nepal. Nationalist activist Phanindra Nepal has been campaigning for a greater Nepal for a long time. Gagan Thapa, general secretary of the Nepali Congress, the largest party in Parliament, said on Thursday that the country should also officially publish the ‘Greater Nepal Map’.
