This announcement was made by Ashwini Vaishnav at a program organized to lay the foundation stone of the plant of semiconductor company Micron.

During this, he also announced that the stoppage of Vande Bharat Express train will also be made at Sanand. He said that high speed train will be operated between Ahmedabad and Sanand. After this announcement, the passengers traveling in Gujarat are very happy. Now world class rail service will start between Ahmedabad and Sanand. “The high-speed train will start soon, in the next six months.” It is noteworthy that on September 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express.

Gujarat has become the leader in the country in terms of semiconductor. Micron had in June announced setting up a semiconductor assembly and test plant in Gujarat. There will be a total investment of 2.75 billion dollars (about Rs 22,540 crore). The company has tied up with Tata Projects for phased construction of a new assembly and testing plant at Sanand.
