Here, grand preparations have started in UAE to welcome PM Modi. However, due to bad weather, the timing of Prime Minister Modi’s program has been changed.
PM Modi will address ‘Ahlan Modi’ program
The ‘Ahlan Modi’ community program which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi has been reduced due to bad weather in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In Arabic language ‘Ahlan Modi’ means ‘Hello Modi’.
For this reason, changes were made in PM Modi’s program.
Heavy rain and thunder and lightning were recorded across the UAE overnight. The rain caused waterlogging along with traffic jams due to which it was decided to shorten the ‘Alahan Modi’ program. Community leader Sajeev Purushothaman said preparations for Prime Minister Modi’s biggest ever expatriate event at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi were going well, but due to bad weather, the turnout was limited to 80,000. Was reduced to 35,000. It was earlier reported that 60,000 people had already confirmed their attendance through a website set up to register people. Only people of Indian origin will participate in this program.
More than 40 thousand people will participate in PM Modi’s program
According to Purushothaman, 35,000 to 40,000 people, including those presenting cultural programs, will attend the event. He said that more than 1000 volunteers will be deployed at the venue and more than 500 buses will be operated. A source at the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said that 45,000 people would attend the public event to be addressed by the Prime Minister. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had greeted the then US President Donald Trump with ‘Howdy, Modi!’ Addressed a massive community event on September 22, 2019 in Houston, Texas. At least 35 lakh Indians live in UAE.
Alert issued in Gulf country after heavy rain
Due to heavy rain, snowfall, thunder and lightning in large parts of the UAE, a safety alert was issued in this Gulf country on Monday and the speed limit was reduced. People have also shared videos of snowfall in Al Ain city. But there has been no official confirmation of snowfall.
PM Modi will inaugurate Swaminarayan spread over 27 acres
The Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi is the first traditional Hindu temple in the UAE to be built of stone.
