Here we will talk about villages, where after rejuvenation, production has increased and tourism is also earning well. There are many areas in the Queichow province of southwest China where people were troubled by the problem of rocky desertification. But a locally run scheme changed his life. Under this scheme, people were encouraged to plant Sachwan pepper. A plan to plant pepper in these hilly areas of Queicho changed the fortunes of the villagers.
Luo Wanmei, a villager participating in this scheme, says that he earns more than 2,000 yuan (23,000 rupees) every month by planting black pepper. They had never thought before that such a thing could ever grow in this dry and mountainous region. It is a dream come true for many villagers like him. You can guess for yourself that the land which was lying barren and dry. If this much income is being earned by growing black pepper etc. on it, then obviously people will be very happy.
It is said that till now more than 15 thousand people have got employment opportunities due to the black pepper industry. Due to this, the income of two hundred families of the village has increased by more than 6 thousand yuan on average.
Not only this, the central government of China has launched a campaign to increase greenery and preserve nature in different parts of the country. The effect of which has been widely seen.
On the other hand, James George, a UN official, says that nature conservation is of great importance in promoting rural revival. According to him, poverty increases due to deterioration or deterioration of the ecological environment, while poverty worsens the ecological environment. These two are related to each other. In such a situation, the importance of environmental protection cannot be underestimated. But in a country with a huge population like China, the government should be praised for taking such serious steps. This will not only improve the situation within China, but it will also be able to set an example for other countries.
