New Delhi. Hindalco Industries Ltd’s net profit for the fourth quarter of the fiscal ended March 31 declined 37 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,411 crore. The company gave this information to the stock market. The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter of 2021-22 was Rs 3,860 crore.
The Aditya Birla Group company reported that its total income for the March quarter stood at Rs 56,209 crore, while expenses stood at Rs 53,372 crore, as against Rs 56,057 crore and Rs 51,026 crore, respectively, in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. Hindalco Industries is the world’s largest aluminum company in terms of revenue. It meets more than half of the country’s copper requirements.
