New Delhi: Despite the fall in the markets around the world, the Indian stock market is showing a boom on Wednesday. The domestic stock market got a boost from the rally in the power, utilities and consumer durables sectors. FMCG and capital goods sectors are also showing good growth. Only BSE Metals and BSE Commodities sectors are showing decline. At 11:30 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.26% to reach 62,142 points. The Nifty 50 index was also trading at 18,384 points with a gain of 0.20%. Among Sensex companies, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Power Grid Corporation of India and Maruti Suzuki were the top gainers while IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors ( Shares of Tata Motors) and Tata Steel declined. BSE Largecap gained due to gain in Adani Total Gas. This stock of Adani Group touched the upper circuit of five per cent in the morning session. After getting relief from the committee constituted by the Supreme Court in the Hindenburg Research case, the shares of Adani Group are showing a lot of boom.
