Sunak is going to hold a press conference on 21 June. This international press conference will also be a mega UK event. In this conference, Sunak will appeal for more investment in Ukraine, which has suffered losses due to Russia’s attack. According to the official website of the UK government, world leaders, business leaders, investors and non-governmental organizations are expected to participate in this press conference. The two-day event will be held in London and Zelensky will also be present in it.
During a visit to the UK, Zelensky said that Ukraine and the UK were “genuine partners”. While Sunak’s spokesperson termed the meeting of the two leaders as encouraging. The Storm Shadow cruise missiles supplied by the UK to Ukraine can be used against the Russian army in Ukrainian territory occupied by Russia.
