Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana: Many schemes are being run by the Central Government to make women and girls economically prosperous. Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is also included among the best schemes. You can invest in this scheme for your daughters. However, under this scheme, accounts can be opened only for children below 10 years of age. You can start investing in this with a minimum of Rs 250. Earlier in this scheme, there was a provision to open accounts of maximum two daughters. But, now under the new rules, if there is a twin daughter after one daughter, then now accounts can be opened for both. In this way you can benefit your three daughters under this scheme. Under the scheme, parents have to invest only for 15 years. After that, the interest amount keeps getting added to it for the next six years. The maturity of the scheme occurs when the girl child turns 21. However, the girl child can handle the account herself after the age of 18 years.
You will get three times the fund on maturity
Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana If an investor invests Rs 1 lakh in a year, then his investment amount in 15 years is Rs 15,00,000. In such a situation, the total amount available on maturity of 21 years can be up to Rs 44,89,690. In this amount, the investor is going to get Rs 29,89,690 as interest on the total investment by the government. It can be understood that investment amount times three 15,00,000×3 = 45,00,000. In such a situation, it can be said that the investor will get almost three times more amount of investment on maturity. However, after the child turns 18, you can withdraw money for her marriage. At this time only 50 percent of the total deposited amount can be withdrawn. At the same time, in case of special circumstances like sudden death of the account holder, death of a guardian, serious illness of the account holder or inability to continue the account, you can withdraw the entire amount after five years.
