The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Bangladesh tweeted that Rohingya refugees were working with the volunteer agency and its partners to put out the fire, but gave no further details. Over one million Rohingya refugees have fled Myanmar for Bangladesh over the past few decades. Of these, 7.4 lakh people reached Bangladesh in August 2017, when the Myanmar army began a brutal crackdown.
