ICICI Lombard celebrates Women’s Month in March with special offers for all women and women agents

ICICI Lombard, one of the country’s leading general insurance companies, has announced that it will celebrate the month of March as Women’s Month in an effort to empower women in their physical and financial well-being. During this time the company will offer free health check-up, which will be available to 10,000 women on first come first serve basis across key locations in India. Women from different places in India can avail these services through the TakeCare app. The app provides a convenient and easy-to-use platform to manage their health and insurance needs.

In addition, ICICI Lombard is also offering free Roadside Assistance Service (RSA) to women motorists. Where they can get help in dealing with car breakdowns, accidents, tire bursts, fuel loss, electric failure etc. while driving during odd hours. According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), only 30% of women aged 15-49 in India have health insurance. A large section of the female population is not getting the benefits of insurance mainly due to lack of awareness, financial education and access.
