Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi granted bail in separate cases, now appearing in NAB court regarding Al Qadir Trust case

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in the federal capital on Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in eight different cases till June 8.

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan along with his wife Bushra Begum appeared before the National Accountability Bureau court in Rawalpindi. In this case, Imran Khan was arrested from the court premises in the past. This muscle of Imran has happened in the Al Qadir Trust case. Earlier, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in the federal capital on Tuesday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in eight different cases till June 8.

Both appeared before the accountability court for the first time seeking protective bail. At that time, he got immediate relief from the Lahore High Court in the corruption case. His bail expired today (May 23). To avoid arrest, both of them once again appeared in the judicial premises hoping for relief from the court. Judge Muhammad Basheer granted bail to Bushra Bibi till May 31 on a surety of Rs 500,000. Before issuing the notice to the Investigating Officer (IO), he also obtained his signature to ensure the deposit of surety bond.

Further, Khan and Bushra Bibi went to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) complex, where the former prime minister’s lawyer had filed a petition for his bail. The PTI chief and his wife left the judicial complex after the ATC granted them bail.
