Imran Khan is going to appear before the court after several days of violence and long ruckus in Pakistan. On Tuesday, when the Islamabad police reached Imran’s residence in Lahore’s Zaman Park with a warrant to arrest him, the security forces were confronted by violent PTI workers. The police operation continued till Wednesday evening. After the Lahore High Court stayed the police action till Thursday, the violence in Zaman Park stopped and the Pak Rangers retreated.
IHC suspended warrant
At present, news is coming that the Islamabad High Court has suspended the non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Imran Khan till March 18. This has given him an opportunity to appear before the trial court, which is hearing the Toshakhana case against the PTI chairman. In his order, the judge also directed the sessions court and the Islamabad police to provide adequate security to Imran.
Imran accused of terrorism
Police in Pakistan on Thursday registered an FIR against (PTI) chief Imran Khan on several charges, including terrorism. According to the FIR lodged by the Punjab Police, Imran Khan instigated over 2,500 party workers present at Zaman Park to attack policemen who wanted to arrest the former prime minister in a corruption case.

83 FIRs registered against Imran
According to the police, PTI supporters set police vehicles on fire, hurled petrol bombs at policemen and rangers, resulting in injuries to several policemen. As many as 83 FIRs have been registered against Imran across the country on charges ranging from inciting public opinion, contempt of a woman judge and interference with official work to murder, abetment to murder, terrorism, sedition and blasphemy.
