Party’s Minar-e-Pakistan rally and urged supporters not to back down under any circumstances. Speaking to the media outside the court while sitting in his vehicle, Imran said that whatever method they (the government) would use, the public’s reaction would come today.
PTI chairman Imran Khan, who arrived at the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday to seek interim bail in three terrorism cases, told reporters that there would be a reaction from the public today on the atrocities on PTI. Party’s Minar-e-Pakistan rally and urged supporters not to back down under any circumstances. Speaking to the media outside the court while sitting in his vehicle, Imran said that whatever method they (the government) would use, the public’s reaction would come today. The former Prime Minister said that we will not back down under any circumstances.
He further said that I am saying today that they (government) will see the biggest rally in the history of the country at Minar-e-Pakistan. The PTI chief claimed that our 1,600 workers were removed only because they wanted to fill our Minar-e-Pakistan rally today. Imran criticized the government for using every method to crush PTI and for torturing and taking people, while comparing the current atrocities committed on PTI to those committed in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
He further said that atrocities are being committed but this is a fight and a Jihad for Haqiqi Azadi (real freedom) so sacrifices will be required. I am also ready for this and my entire team is also ready.
ATC granted bail in 3 cases.
Today, the Lahore ATC granted Imran interim bail till April 4 in three cases filed at the Lahore Race Course police station – two of which were on March 14 and March 15 – related to clashes between PTI supporters and the police. ATC Judge Ejaz Ahmed Buttar heard the petition today, while Barrister Salman Safdar appeared in the court as Imran’s counsel.
