Renowned spiritual leader and exponent of Ramcharit Manas, Morari Bapu has urged the followers of Hinduism to embrace their Hindu identity with pride and chant the holy name of Lord Rama. Speaking at the ongoing Ram Katha event at the University of Cambridge, Morari Bapu asked followers of Sanatan Hindu Dharma to shed any reluctance and declare their identity with confidence.

He said, “Wherever there are Hindus all over the world and from whatever region they are, why is there hesitation in taking the name of Ram and saying I am a Hindu?” He also drew attention to the recent statement made by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Speaking at Ram Katha on 15 August, Rishi Sunak expressed pride in being both Hindu and British. Morari Bapu asked why do others hesitate to do so?

“We are proud, we belong to Sanatan Dharma. And why not! (Sage) Sunak ji, who is the present British Prime Minister, said that he came here as a Hindu. Why are you all so ashamed (of Hindu identity)?” Bapu asked.

“I love that Rishi Sunak graced us with his presence. He raised the slogan of Jai Siya Ram twice. I welcome it. If a world leader like him can proudly identify as a Hindu and chant Jai Siya Ram twice, why should any other Hindu be reluctant?”

Morari Bapu further said that Gandhiji and Swami Vivekanandaji also said that he is a Hindu and this is the generosity of Hinduism.

Morari Bapu emphasized that being a Hindu is synonymous with an open mind and wide acceptance and remarked that the principles of Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma are wider than the vast sky.

Morari Bapu also reiterated the importance of chanting the Supreme Name of Lord Rama.

A tireless supporter of the teachings of Lord Rama and the wisdom contained in the Ramcharit Manas, Morari Bapu shared his firm belief that the essence of Lord Rama cannot be reduced to a single depiction.

He said firmly, “Our Rama is beyond boundaries, there is no limit to his divinity.”

Highlighting India’s cultural influence and respect on the global stage, Morari Bapu said that he travels the world sharing the beauty and ethos of eternal traditions and changing the way the world views India and its cultural heritage. Has been.
