Indian grant assistance of Nepalese rupees 3.61 crore was used for the construction of a two-storey school building, hostel building and furniture for both the buildings for Sri Sharda Secondary School, a press release issued by the Indian Embassy here said.

Kathmandu. The building of a government secondary school constructed under Nepal-India development cooperation at Rawa Basi in Khotang district was inaugurated on Thursday. It is India’s latest step to help improve education in the Himalayan nation. Indian grant assistance of Nepalese rupees 3.61 crore was used for the construction of a two-storey school building, hostel building and furniture for both the buildings for Sri Sharda Secondary School, a press release issued by the Indian Embassy here said.

This school is in Rawa Besi Rural Corporation area in Khotang district of Nepal. The school building was jointly inaugurated by District Coordination Committee Chairman Sain Bahadur Rai, Rawa Besi Municipality Chairman Fatik Kumar Shrestha and Indian Embassy First Secretary Suman Shekhar.
