Azerbaijan and Pakistan did not like this decision of India. But now Azerbaijan and Pakistan have got another big blow. To please India, Arminia made a big offer.
India has got a big offer and it has been given by none other than Arminia. Armenia is the only country which is seeking help from India to avoid Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkey. There is a war going on between Armenia and Azerbaijan over a piece of land. Azerbaijan is taking weapons from Pakistan and Turkey to attack Armenia. Due to this, Arminia sought India’s help and India also promised to give Pinaka rocket to Arminia. Azerbaijan and Pakistan did not like this decision of India. But now Azerbaijan and Pakistan have got another big blow. To please India, Arminia made a big offer.
The offer was made last week by an Armenian team comprising senior officials and experts. This has come at a time when Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is also visiting India. The proposed corridor—which will run parallel to the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC)—aims to connect Mumbai to Bandar Abbas in Iran and then to Armenia and then onward to Europe or Russia, bypassing Azerbaijan, with which India has a sweet trade route. There are no relations, but close relations with Turkey and Pakistan.
Armenia has offered a trade corridor taking India’s Mumbai port to Russia via Iran. Under this corridor, India will first connect with Bandar-Abbas port of Iran. After that this corridor will reach Europe and Russia via Armenia. By the way, Russia and Iran are already building a corridor named International North South Transport Corridor. This corridor will also connect Russia with Mumbai. But this corridor passes through Azerbaijan. The passage of this corridor through Azerbaijan can create a problem for India. But Armenia has found a solution to this and has said that we will connect Mumbai with Russia and Azerbaijan will not come in between.
