Beijing: In Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, China and Pakistan were engaged in a conspiracy, which was foiled by India through its diplomatic efforts. In a ministerial-level meeting in Baku, the two countries made up their mind to take the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). Very cleverly, Pakistan played a trick in NAM involving BRI and CPEC. But India failed him with its shrewd diplomacy. Not only this, but also on Kashmir, India has fiercely defeated Pakistan.

According to the reports coming in, India has foiled the efforts of Pakistan at the behest of China in the context of South China Sea disputes. Southeast Asian countries that are also involved in NAM and have stake in the South China Sea have worked closely with India to thwart Pakistan’s plans. According to the NAM documents, many South Asian countries are upset that this initiative has been taken by Pakistan which has no role in this part. This information has been given by the Economic Times. China is included in NAM as an observer. For the last several years, it has been trying to advance its agenda through Pakistan.

Azerbaijan also turned against
Azerbaijan, a close ally of Pakistan, is currently the chairman of NAM. A summit of NAM is to be held in Kampala, Uganda in late January 2024. After this conference, the chairmanship of NAM will be handed over to Uganda. Uganda is the country which is India’s ally in Africa. According to the information, in the documents of NAM, Pakistan made a lot of efforts to mention BRI and CPEC. But Indian diplomats completely failed Pakistani efforts. According to the information that is coming, Azerbaijan has also not supported the efforts of Pakistan.

India has always been opposed to CPEC as it passes through PoK. India says that it violates its sovereignty. India’s objections to BRI are also recorded in SCO documents. India believes that BRI has pushed many countries apart from Pakistan towards debt crisis. But it was not just the issue of BRI, CPEC or South China Sea in Baku. In the meeting, India also faced the storm unleashed by Pakistan on Kashmir. Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, told the NAM ministerial meeting that India rejects Pakistan’s “baseless and baseless comments”. India said that Pakistan has insulted the sanctity of this forum.
