In a bilateral meeting with Shangfu that lasted for about 45 minutes amid the border dispute in eastern Ladakh for three years, Singh also made it clear that the progress of India-China relations is based on peace and tranquility along the border. Shangfu arrived in Delhi on Friday to attend the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) being hosted here by India.
