Hina Rabbani said in an interview to the American website Politico that Pakistan would welcome trade with India but there is no possibility of it due to poor relations with the Modi government. Direct trade between India and Pakistan has stopped since the year 2019 but indirectly it continues. Indirect trade between the two countries stood at $1.35 billion between April 2022 and December. Hina Rabbani said she was in favor of opening trade to restore ties between the two countries but a Hindu nationalist government in New Delhi is impossible to work with.
Pakistani Ambani had appealed for business from India
The Pakistani minister spewing venom said that the Hindu nationalist government of India is dividing the country in the name of Hindus and Muslims. Hina said that there is no possibility of starting business with India. He even alleged that the BJP government was inciting tension. Hina Rabbani said that her country Pakistan is ready to resume talks if India changes its stand. While Hina is talking about talks, her Foreign Minister Bilawal is continuously spewing venom against India.
India has clearly said that Pakistan will have to take steps against terrorist groups before starting talks. Earlier, Pakistani billionaire Mian Mansha had appealed to the Government of Pakistan to resume trade with India. He said that India can give us many such cheap things which will reduce the inflation in the country. Pakistan can also earn money by exporting to India.
