The DPO said that the woman would be produced before the media after her acquittal. A local journalist said that the Indian woman was avoiding the media. He said that when the news of Nasrullah’s arrival went viral on social media, several journalists reached his house, but were told that Anju was not present at his house.

He said that both of them are trying to stay away from the media. She wants to come back to her country and resume her work. Nasrullah said that it took Anju two years to complete the visa process. They decided that Anju would first meet her family in Pakistan before taking a final decision about the marriage.
