Indian origin couple went bankrupt in business, daughter found dead in American’s house, big revelations made in investigation – Dainik Savera Times

New York: The bodies of an Indian-origin couple and their teenage daughter were found in their $5 million mansion in New York, America. The deceased include Rakesh Kamal (57), his wife Tina (54) and their 18-year-old daughter Ariana. Tina and her husband ran a tech company called Edunova in America. Which was now closed. Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey gave this information. The officer said that the reason for the incident could be domestic violence. A gun has also been found near the body of deceased Rakesh Kamal.

Rakesh Kamal and his wife were facing financial troubles. Both of them opened an edtech company in 2016. However, his company closed down in 2021. According to American media, the Rs 41 crore mansion in which the Kamal family was living was about to be sold. Tina had applied for bankruptcy in September 2022. He had said that he had liabilities of up to Rs 100 crore. However, his application was rejected after two months due to not having all the documents.

His company Edunova was launched in 2016 but was dissolved in December 2021. Tina was listed on Edunova’s website as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, describing her as an alumnus of Harvard University and Delhi University. Before working at Edunova, he “held a number of executive positions in the education-consultancy sector.” Edunova had marketed a “student success system” designed to improve students’ grades in middle school, high school and college, The Boston Globe said.

Rakesh’s dead body came to light when one of his relatives came to meet him. Rakesh had not talked to him in the last one or two days. After this he reached Rakesh’s mansion. Where after seeing the dead bodies of all three, he informed the police. According to local officials, no complaint was ever received against Rakesh’s family. The people of this house never faced any problem in the neighborhood.

The attorney did not give information about how the three died. While giving information about the incident, American officials said that whether it was murder or suicide, it could not be known yet. At present the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Only after the post mortem report comes, it will be possible to tell what is the actual cause of death. The name of the place where the bodies of the three Indians were found is Dover. It is about 32 kilometers from Boston, the capital of Massachusetts state of America.
