Indian origin minister in Singapore denies corruption charges in court

Singapore’s Indian-origin Transport Minister S. Easwaran on Thursday refused to accept the allegations leveled against him. He faces 27 charges, including two charges of corruption, under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to the news of news channel ‘News Asia’, Easwaran (61), the minister in charge of trade relations besides transport, reached the court at around 8 am on Thursday. During this time he did not answer the questions of the reporters.
