New Delhi: Indian professionals are adopting AI skills amid the growing prominence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the world of work. According to LinkedIn’s first global ‘Future of Work: State of Work on AI’ report, the number of AI-skilled professionals in India increased 14 times in June 2023 as compared to January 2016. . With this, India now joins Singapore, Finland, Ireland and Canada in the top five countries where AI skills have increased.
The use of AI in workplaces has increased in the past year, according to a report by LinkedIn, a platform for working professionals. This growth has led 60 percent of all workers and 71 percent of young (Zen G) professionals in India to believe that acquiring AI skills can enhance professional prospects. LinkedIn reports Two Indians say they will learn at least one digital skill by 2023. AI and machine learning are among the top skills they want to learn.
