Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi came to Delhi on January 26, 2023 as the chief guest at India’s 74th Republic Day celebrations. The travel, dates and agenda are still under discussion. People familiar with the matter say the prime minister is expected to visit Egypt soon after the conclusion of his state visit to the US on June 24. Sisi was the first Egyptian leader to be hosted by India for Republic Day celebrations. Explain that both the countries are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
On May 22, none of the delegates from Egypt reached the G20 meeting, so Pakistan’s happiness knew no bounds. Apart from Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia also did not attend the meeting.
