Till now, Ukraine was maintaining a front against Russia on the strength of the help it was getting from Western and NATO countries, but Israel-Hamas conflict led to the division of NATO and the entire focus of Western countries is on helping Israel, hence Ukraine was left alone. No opportunity is being missed. Russia is carrying out aggressive attacks because it sees that when the world is not able to do anything to improve the situation of people in Gaza, what will anyone do in Ukraine. He said that America is just trying to increase sanctions against Russia. In this sequence, it has imposed sanctions on 130 foreign companies and people to prevent access to supplies to Russia.

Brigadier Shri DS Tripathi (Retd) said that it has been 618 days since this war and it is clear that this war will drag on further. He said that no one is ready to accept defeat and fatigue is being seen on both sides. He said Russia had stepped up its attacks in recent days, bombing more than 100 settlements in a single day, the highest level of aggression seen this year. In addition, Russia fired about 20 missiles at Ukraine and Kiev successfully intercepted 18 of them, which shows that the conflict is not going to subside, he said.

Brigadier Shri DS Tripathi (Retd) said that Ukraine’s most important concern is that winter is coming and as winter approaches, it becomes difficult to compete. Apart from this, disrupted electricity supply due to attacks in winter poses an even greater challenge. This will be the second winter in the Ukraine war when people will be forced to face hardships. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not accepting defeat and is insisting that Ukraine will make extraordinary achievements in this war. He says that when the war started, people in the world did not think that Ukraine would be able to fight so much. Zelensky says that the world is now acknowledging the strength of our soldiers and a day will come when Russian President Vladimir Putin will also realize this. He said Zelensky also believes that Ukraine’s success in the Battle of the Black Sea is something that will go down in the history books.
