Britain is the fourth European country Zelensky has visited in the last few days. After visiting Germany and Italy, he made an unannounced trip to Paris to meet French President Emmanuel Macron. During his visit to Germany and Italy, he met senior leaders of the country and Pope Francis. He said that according to Downing Street, Zelensky briefed Sunak about his meetings with European leaders. The visit took place before the ‘Council of Europe Summit’ in Iceland. Sunak said this is a crucial moment in Ukraine’s retaliation to a horrific war … (a war) that he did not instigate, he added.
