New Delhi. A large number of employees are giving more priority to remote working i.e. flexible system of sitting anywhere than salary. Experts believe that along with this, allowing work from home or any other place instead of office is helping companies to get talented employees and retain them in the company. Of these, 71 per cent respondents believed that they preferred the freedom to work from home, flexibility in working hours and the convenience of taking breaks as needed while job hunting. A total of 1,810 individuals including 561 employers and 1,249 job seekers were interviewed for the survey by employment website Indeed India. 63 per cent of the job seekers surveyed preferred a hybrid system, while 51 per cent of companies also offered such flexibility in their operations.
