Investigation started against Elon Musk in Brazil on charges of spreading fake news and obstructing justice process

A Brazilian Supreme Court judge included prominent businessman Elon Musk in an ongoing investigation into the spread of fake news and launched a separate investigation late Sunday against him on charges of obstruction of justice.
Justice Alexander D. Moraes said in his ruling that Musk began waging a public “disinformation campaign” regarding the apex court’s actions on Saturday and continued on Sunday.
The judge made this comment especially on Musk’s statement that his social media company ‘X’ will not comply with the court order to ban some accounts. D. Moraes wrote, “The reprehensible conduct of obstructing the Brazilian justice system, inciting crime, public threats of disobedience to court orders and lack of future cooperation from the (social media) platform – these are facts that Brazil Disrespect the sovereignty of.
According to the decision, ‘X’ was being deliberately used as a criminal tool as part of an investigation against a network of people known as digital militia who allegedly spread defamatory fake news against Supreme Court judges. An investigation will be conducted against Musk on the allegation.
