Iran invites Saudi king: Forgetting enmity, two Shia-Sunni countries of the world make a new beginning, Iran made this request to the King of Saudi

Nearly seven years later, the world’s two largest Shia and Sunni countries are beginning a new formal relationship by forgetting their enmity. Last month, an Iranian delegation also reached Saudi Arabia to pave the way for Riyadh to reopen its diplomatic missions following mediation by China. Now Iran has officially invited the King of Saudi Arabia to visit the country. Earlier, the King of Saudi Arabia has invited the President of Iran to visit Riyadh.

Both countries engaged in the process of opening diplomatic missions

Saudi Arabia and Iran have agreed to reopen diplomatic missions in their capital and other cities. Iran’s semi-official news agency ISNA gave this information in a report. The Iranian delegation reached Riyadh to visit the Iranian embassy and reopen the consulate as per the recent agreement between the two countries. The longtime rivals in the Middle East have now resolved to work together. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has been invited to Riyadh by Saudi King Salman.

Saudi Arabia and Iran agreement

China has recently signaled its intention to play a greater role in global affairs by hosting talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Iran and Saudi Arabia have agreed to restore diplomatic ties and reopen embassies after seven years of tensions. The agreement, signed in Beijing last month, is being seen as a major diplomatic victory for China as the Gulf countries believe that the US is gradually withdrawing from the Middle East.
