Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican contender in the 2024 US presidential race, has doubled down on his views about his religion, hitting back at those criticizing him about his Hindu faith. During a CNN town hall in Iowa, Ramaswamy said he respectfully disagreed when an audience member asked him to address some voters’ perception that their religion is not what America’s founders based the country on. Now, the Republican contender has reinforced his point with another post on Twitter.
