Israeli forces launched an operation around Gaza’s largest hospital, al-Shifa, after witnesses reported airstrikes on the devastated neighborhood where it is located. An army statement said Israeli troops are currently conducting a precision operation in the area of Shifa hospital. The operation is based on intelligence indicating use of the hospital by senior Hamas militants.
