But Israel responds to the attacks on itself with equal aggression. One big lesson that India needs to learn from Israel is to bounce back from failures. Israel is also called the ‘Start-up Nation’. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised Israel many times in public forums. India is also making defense deals with Israel and its expert soldiers are also training our soldiers in new things.
Promotion of innovation and technology
Israel has always promoted innovation and technology. One big thing that differentiates the Indian and Israeli innovation systems is that Israelis accept failure, and failed entrepreneurs are not stigmatized. India and Israel did not see eye to eye. For decades, India was inclined towards Palestine and this relationship changed during the Kargil conflict, when Israel helped India by supplying sophisticated weapons, which helped in pushing back Pakistani intruders in the Kargil region. Since then this relationship has progressed very rapidly. India launched TecSAR, an Israeli spy satellite, in 2008. India had also purchased a similar satellite, RISAT-2, from Israel to keep an eye on its hostile neighbours, this was a government level collaboration.

Today Israel is a powerhouse of high technology. There is a lot to learn from the original ‘Start Up Nation’ Israel if India’s mission to succeed as a ‘Start Up’ nation is to be carried forward. Pakistani aircraft retaliated by shooting down an Indian aircraft and capturing the pilot. It also showed that Pakistan would retaliate, so Indian attacks should be limited to avoid escalating into a general war.
