Zaki Heller, spokesman for the rescue service Magen David Adom (MDA), told PTI that the missile struck a plantation in the moshav (collective farming community) Margaliot in the Galilee region in Israel’s north at around 11 a.m. on Monday.

Commenting on the incident, the victim’s father Pathros Maxwell said he received a call from his daughter-in-law at around 4.30 pm, informing her that her son had met with an accident. Later at around 12.30 he was informed about his son’s death.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Embassy in India expressed grief over the death of the Indian national and said Israeli medical institutions are attending to those injured in the attack.
