External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday visited the famous Pashupatinath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva here and offered prayers there. Jaishankar reached Nepal on Thursday on his first visit to a foreign country in 2024. Before starting his program in the country on the second day, he visited Pashupatinath Temple early in the morning. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday said India will provide a $75 million financial package to rebuild infrastructure in Nepal’s western district affected by last year’s earthquake. Jaishankar made the comments while jointly inaugurating the Tribhuvan University Central Library and other reconstruction projects with his Nepalese counterpart N P Saud in Kathmandu. These projects were started after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal.
