Chief Secretary P.K. Jena told reporters here that the state Cabinet on Monday evening approved a special incentive for the unit as it is going to become the first aerospace and defense manufacturing complex in Odisha.
Bhubaneswar. Kalyani Steel Limited proposes to invest Rs 26,000 crore to set up titanium metal and aerospace component manufacturing and integrated advanced special steel and automotive component manufacturing complex at Gajmara in Dhenkanal district of Odisha. Chief Secretary P.K. Jena told reporters here that the state Cabinet on Monday evening approved a special incentive for the unit as it is going to become the first aerospace and defense manufacturing complex in Odisha.
He said that the State Government is committed to promote an environment conducive to growth and innovation in high potential sectors of aerospace, defense and automotive manufacturing. Jena said that these projects, with a combined investment of more than Rs 26,000 crore and potential for more than 12,000 employment opportunities, are set to usher in a new era of industrial growth and employment generation in the state.
