Khalistan Pannun Row | Khalistani terrorist Pannu will attack the Indian Parliament, threatened the Indian government, also told the date and time.

Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has released a video in which he has said that he will attack the Indian Parliament on or before December 13 after an alleged failed plot to kill him. It is noteworthy that on December 13, the 22nd anniversary of the attack on Parliament by terrorists in 2001 will be celebrated.

In the video which showed a poster of 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru with the title ‘Delhi Banega Khalistan’ (Delhi will turn into Khalistan), Pannu said that a plot by Indian agencies to kill him had failed. He claimed that he would respond by attacking Parliament on or before December 13. Pannu’s threat comes as Parliament is holding its winter session, which began on Monday. The session will continue till December 22.

Security agencies are on high alert after Pannu’s threatening video surfaced. According to sources, security agencies said that the K-2 (Kashmir-Khalistan) desk of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI had instructed Pannu to pursue her agenda of propagating the anti-India narrative.

Last month, The Financial Times, citing unnamed sources, reported that US officials had foiled a plot to kill Pannu and issued a warning to the Indian government over concerns of her involvement in the plot. Pannun heads the US-based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), which is banned in India and wanted by Indian investigating agencies.

US federal prosecutors also accused Indian national Nikhil Gupta, 52, of working with an Indian government employee in a foiled plot to murder Pannu. US prosecutors informed the Manhattan court that Czech Republic authorities had arrested and detained Gupta.

A US Justice Department press release, citing court documents, said that earlier this year, “an Indian government employee, working closely with others, including Gupta, in India and elsewhere, defrauded a lawyer on US soil.” And directed to hatch a conspiracy to murder a political figure.” The activist is an Indian-American citizen living in New York City.

In response, India expressed concern over one of its government officials being linked to the plot, from which it distanced itself, saying it was against government policy. India last week said it would formally investigate the concerns aired by the US, and take “necessary follow-up” on the findings of a panel set up on November 18.
