ACE said last week that the suspects were using political influence to grab land from local people who had been living there for years. A case was registered against Khan on Sunday in the Laiya land corruption case. The total number of cases registered against him has risen to over 140 after he was ousted as prime minister in April last year. Most of the cases registered against Khan are related to terrorism, incitement to violence, arson, blasphemy, attempt to murder, corruption and cheating.
